Fudge Brownies

I just made a batch of my famous fudge brownies and thought I'd share the recipe with you. The first time I made these brownies was for my very first school dance in Grade 6. The boys were more interested in eating brownies than dancing. Girls danced, boys ate brownies. Ever since that day I still get requests to make these brownies from my life long girlfriends. They are simple and gooey but not the least bit healthy. Enjoy!!

1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup cocoa
3 eggs
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Melt butter over med heat, remove from heat
Add sugar and cocoa, mix
Whisk eggs, add to sugar mixture
Add flour baking powder and vanilla
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 min
Serve on your very own personalized plate

--I would give credit to the cookbook where I originally found this recipe, but I honestly have no idea. This recipe has been scribbled on a piece of chocolate covered paper for over 20 yrs.
