From 2004-2006 we lived in Madison, Wisconsin. I fell in love with many things during my stay in Madison, one of the small joys was ice cream. Wisconsin knows how to make ice cream, or as they call it, custard. Custard is like ice cream, but creamer and so much better (my mouth is watering just thinking about it).
Wisconsin also introduced me to the Crunch Cone, an ice cream cone with a crunchy topping. My favourite is a mixture of sprinkles and Rice Krispies, adds a little tasty crunch. Just mix some sprinkles with Rice Krispies in a bowl and roll the top of your ice cream in the tasty mixture. There are many different varieties of Crunch Cones, try this strawberry ice cream cone topped with crushed ginger snaps and pistachios. There are so many ways to personalize a crunch cone. Yum.
